VP - Trauma Surgery Services (Partner)

Overview

Our VP of Trauma Surgery will lead our new trauma service line and will be part of the CVSA P.C. executive leadership team and an equity partner in the company. Our VP of Trauma Surgery services will drive the service line by recruiting top-tier Trauma Surgical APPs, establishing clinical affiliations, and developing clinical protocols As a partner in CVSA, the VP of Trauma Surgery will receive a monthly draw, plus profit sharing on all revenue derived from the practice.

Desired Requirements

  • Active Nursing or Physician Assistant License in the state of practice

  • Advanced degree (for Nurses - ACNP Certificate is highly preferred). For Physician Assistants - a post-grad surgical residency program completion preferred)

  • Leadership role in a L1 Trauma surgery service program.

  • Breadth of L1 Trauma Surgery service experience at a top-tier academic institution.

  • Desire to learn and further develop first-assist capabilities in the L1 Trauma OR, and obtain a CRNFA certificate.

  • ACLS / ATLS / BLS Certifications

  • Flight nursing experience desired but not required.

  • Experience in the Trauma SICU managing post-operative crises including open-chest and bedside laparotomy procedures.

  • Active leadership in Trauma Nursing societies and affinity groups.

  • Business acumen and social skills to develop new channels and drive accretive service-line revenue.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base draw of $250,000 per year split between 12 equal payments per month. Total cash comp per partner in FY2023 was $363,000 (not including benefits and other non-cash compensation).

  • Loan at SOFR -200 bps to purchase partnership units

  • Equity bonus payouts on a quarterly basis
