Our Surgical Associates are valued clinical team members at CVSA P.C. and have a path to equity partnership based on performance, need, and intangible value contributions to the practice. Our Surgical Associate clinicians are paid a bi-weekly salary with full benefits and share in year-end profit sharing at a proportionate rate as our Partner Clinicians.

• Active license in Surgical Technology; Teaching experience highly desired.

• Advanced certification such as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) preferred.

• Breadth of CV Operating Room in the operative field (scrubbed-in)

• Desire to learn and further develop first-assist capabilities in the CVOR, and desire to pursue advanced education (RN + RNFA)

• ACLS / BLS Certifications

• Deep breadth of experience in patient safety and provider sterile technique in a variety of high-stakes surgical cases.

• Desire to teach and lecture to our Surgical Clinicians on leading practices to maintain a sterile field in chaotic and stressful situations that occur intraoperatively.

• Base salary of $160,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience and teaching history)

• Year-end profit sharing out of bonus pool.
