CVSA Rolls Out Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Associates L.P.
On Tuesday, January-2, we were pleased to roll out services under our Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Associates L.P. entity with surgical first-assisting services to a major medical center in the Dallas, TX metroplex. Our new Clinical Associate First-Assist NP, Katrina, was able to provide direct operative assistance in a 6+ hour surgery for lower extremity trauma sustained in a New Year’s Day MVA. Just a day later, one of our other talented Clinical Associate First-Assists, Denise, was called in to assist on a complex anterior approach redo spinal fusion for an 18-year old girl whose spinal curvature had become so extreme it was compressing her Vena Cava causing her cardiovascular distress.
This initiative is a significant achievement in CVSA’s strategic development plan. CVSA Partner & Director of Corporate Strategy, Dr. Britton Woods, had the following remarks:
